Trudy Elbaum Gottesman, an advocate for children’s health, is a longtime member of the board of KiDS of NYU and is a trustee of NYU Langone Medical Center. She has also served in volunteer capacities for the Abraham Joshua Heschel School and the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum in Israel. Trudy and her husband, Robert W. Gottesman, founded the Sala Institute for Child and Family Centered Care at NYU Langone Medical Center. Robert Gottesman is the CEO of First Manhattan Co.
