Tara Glenn Gendelman joined the Board of Directors of the Sylvia Center in 2016. Her background is in business development and investor relations for both the private and public company sectors having served as the Vice President and Head of Investor Relations of HRG Group, a Fortune 500 public holding company, and as a business development executive at Harbinger Capital Partners and Blackstone Alternative Asset Management. Tara was also a member of Golden Seeds, a national angel-investing group committed to supporting women entrepreneurs in the start-up community, from 2015-2018. Tara received a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in New York City with her husband, Joseph Gendelman, the President of the Bruce Gendelman Company, a national insurance broker, and an active member of the New York City Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Tara’s passions are in food and health and wellness.
