Raquel Pelzel, Editorial Director of Cookbooks at Clarkson Potter, edits New York Times bestsellers Ina Garten, Melissa Clark, Michael Symon, Claire Saffitz, Eric Kim, Rick Martinez, and the World Central Kitchen among many others. Raquel has written four cookbooks of her own and has co-authored more than 20 others with chefs and culinary personalities. A native Chicagoan, she attended The School of Natural Cookery in Boulder, Colorado and also Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI. Her work has received numerous James Beard and IACP awards and nominations. She lives in Brooklyn with her family and their ragamuffin, Loki.
