Guadalupe Lucero is a Queens native with a deep passion for food and community. She is a Food Studies graduate with a creative writing background and has worked in various culinary spaces, ranging from bakeries, restaurants, food media, and nonprofits. She also started her own microbakery highlighting her Mexican and Cantonese background. Guadalupe believes that community building through food education is a powerful tool for youth to regain agency over their foodways and cultural traditions. She is excited to be a part of the team and help expand The Sylvia Center's mission. In her free time, you'll find her exploring new places to eat and cackling over memes and reality tv.
