Cindy Edelson serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of The Sylvia Center. She is a philanthropist and advocate for children. She has served as a trustee and president of the parents association at The Spence School and All Souls School. She serves on the executive board of the Penn Fund at the University of Pennsylvania (her alma mater). Cindy worked previously in the financial sector, with R.W. Pressprich & Co., Bear Stearns and the Union Bank of Switzerland. With her husband David Edelson, she was a member of the Collegiate School campaign cabinet for their most recent capital campaign. David Edelson is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Loews Corporation, a past president of Central Synagogue and a trustee of the Jewish Board of Family & Children’s Services.
