Donald C. McGill has been an Executive Chef for the past 25+ years. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University from Providence, Rhode Island. Where he received his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts in May 1986. He has worked in 4-star restaurants all around NYC: “21” Club, “Montrachet”, “The River Cafe” and “Metro Cafe”. He has trained with renowned Celebrity Chefs’ such as David Burke, Michael Lomonaco, Drew Nieporent, Alain Sailhac, Geoffrey Zakarian, and the late great Patrick Clark. Chef Donald has built an outstanding reputation within the food industry as an expert in nutritional-based gourmet menu planning and high-volume food production.
Donald has dedicated a major part of his career serving “PLWA” people living with HIV/AIDS population and working in the non-profit sector. Due to his direct involvement in the HIV/AIDS community, Donald has acquired an expertise regarding the unique nutritional needs of PLWA and chronic illnesses. In addition, Donald has focused on creating his own brand as well. Developing a professional catering and Private chef business, Kreative Kuisine Management, Inc. serving affluent clients for the past 20 years. During his spare time, he is also a Culinary Arts Instructor, presently teaching Farm-to-table cookery to young adults and to residents who are afflicted with mental illness and substance abused.
Chef Donald is about to embark on his third/fourth overall Culinary Arts program, now as a Culinary Instructor with The Sylvia Center and Key’s to Abundant Life after school programs.
