Chanel Gilmer couples her passion for public health with her scientific knowledge of nutrition to improve lives. Via her public health nutrition consultancy, Gilmer Consulting, LLC, Chanel serves clients in the New York tri-state area including Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions. She has held multiple government nutrition roles including at the Washington D.C. Office on Aging, and the New York City Department of Health and Human Hygiene as a public health food inspector. She earned her M.S. in Public Health Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her B.S. in Nutritional Science from Howard University. She has a vibrant enthusiasm for health, nutrition, and raising the next generation of leaders. She lives in New York City with her husband and children.
