Hello, I’m Justina. Born and raised in New York City. I live in the Bronx. I currently work as the Director of Food Services in a shelter for homeless and runaway youth. Prior to this I have worked in various culinary and food service roles but being a part of The Sylvia Center has been the most rewarding. I started with the Sylvia Center back in 2007 up to 2018 and now I am back as of 2023 and I couldn’t be more happy. I am passionate about working with food and children. I really found my niche in the world of culinary arts. I currently hold a BBA in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from The State University of New York at Cobleskill and completing an MPH in Nutrition at Liberty University. I’m glad to be able to be part of the journey children are on navigating the world of food.
