Hello, I'm Annette! I was born in California, raised in the UK, and moved to Germantown, NY from London in 2015. I live on an old strawberry farm with my partner, my cat (Lola) and my 20-year-old tortoise (Old Man Wilberforce). I worked as a food journalist, editor & recipe tester for many years before becoming a chef. I am passionate about cooking with plants, making vegetables the star of the show, and using a lot of veg and savory ingredients in desserts, too!
