Vocab:
Fruit – a plant that we eat that holds its seeds on the inside
Vegetable – a plant that we eat that seeds come from a flower
Root – part of the plant that takes in water and nutrients for the plant to grow
Stem – part of the plant that gives the plant support and carries water/nutrients to the rest of the plant
Leaf – part of the plant that uses the sun’s energy to make food for the plant. This process is called photosynthesis
Flower – the part of the plant that gets pollinated to create seeds
Seeds – are plant embryos or baby plants waiting to grow into a full plant
