This past weekend, we kicked off the spring season at Katchkie Farm with over 30 supporters at Spring Planting Day. With so many hands ready to volunteer, we were able to finish all the farm tasks on our checklist! Thanks to all of our supporters who came out to the farm, ready to weed, plant, and water our precious plants in the Learning Garden. It wasn’t all work on Saturday — thanks to our team of chefs, we fired up the wood-oven and harvested fresh herbs for a pizza making session in the field house. Rhubarb, chive flowers and local honey were just a few favorite toppings, for both parents and children. We’re already looking forward to next year!
